Weird things happen to me; nothing that you should be afraid of, but just realize that if we get together, you're in for a wild ride. My family is very important to me and we spend a lot of time with them, not to mention a legion of close friends. I'm the proud mom of a sixteen-year-old young man & I was married to his father for 15 years until he passed away 2 years ago. I'm a planner but spontaneous. Nurturing but competitive. Peaceful but energetic. I love staying up late -- whether it's to party, have a good conversation with an interesting person, being on the computer or just reading a good book -- but I always try sleep-in on weekends. I am a newly (6 months) single lez with children of the furry canine variety. My life in a nutshell. Well I go to Tech for Electrical Engineering, Im a senior as I already have a bachelors in Geology from there as well. I just realized that rocks weren't my thing so I am trying something new. Which I really like. I really like playing sports but not so much watching sports on TV. I love going to the games in person though.

I guess I do most of the normal guy things, hang out with friends, play video games (I can just imagine all you girls cringing at that one.), study, go to class, etc.

Where to begin...I am eighteen years of age, born and raised in Texas. I hail from the small town of Sweetwater, renown for the "worlds largest rattlesnake roundup" and well over 5 thousand white windmills. I enjoy the outdoors and frequent the mountains of New Mexico when possible, especially if backpacking or camping is to be involved (and I mean with a tent at most. None of this "RV" crap). My most worthwhile achievement thus far would have to be obtaining my Eagle Scout rank in the Boy Scouts of America, although I find it ironic that I don't view myself as "the model American" so to speak. I'll also be the first to say I'm a geek, although not to the socially disturbing levels that some members of society can so...nobly...reach. I have played WoW and similar games though, so don't be surprised if I randomly initiate a foam sword duel in your presence for laughs. I have a sarcastic and witty sense of humor as well, so please don't take it as arrogance or narcissism. The more I "pick" on you the more I probably like you.

I was born and raised in Texas, for the most part I've been here my whole life. When I was younger my family traveled all around the East Coast a bit. We had the trip of a lifetime to Italy when I was 13, I am going to go back someday. I've been to Israel with the Marine Corps for training, but we were able to take a few tours while we were there. It was amazing as well! I was home schooled all the way through High School. Loved to play sports during that time, especially basket ball! hello i am dallas fowler. i have a 6 month baby girl name renee. i am going to south plains college. i want to become a officer.

First things first, I am dyslexic so English 101 is not my strong suit. I know enough to realize that I am not perfect and laugh at myself quite a lot.
I am pretty liberal in my politics and thinking. I do not consider myself especially artistic though I am told my thinking is. I really enjoy other people, how they think, what they say (if its not dogma). I love music, just about any kind. I loved going to open mic. nights in Jacksonville and am despairing of ever finding one here.
I was a Diver for the Navy till 2000 and that defined me pretty well...that work hard/play hard mentality. It enabled me to travel all over the world and it helped shape some things about me and how I think of other peoples and cultures. Exploring new things, people, cultures, cities it one of the most exciting things in the world to me.
I can (and will) get seriously upset with conservatism.
I am not religious, and do not understand how anyone can say "God is first in my life" with a straight face. If you are married, have children, or both how on earth can you mean that? If you do ....become a priest...then I will respect that statement. (Which just goes to show you that I can be as intolerant of some things as the next person)?
